Biography
Hi, I’m Sam.

There’s something silently magical about weddings. A thousand fleeting moments, glances, laughter, quiet tears, that come together to tell one beautiful story. It’s this story that draws me in every time, and why I fell in love with wedding photography.
For me, it isn’t just about capturing posed portraits or pretty details. It’s about preserving the heartbeat of the day: the nervous anticipation before the ceremony, the way hands reach for each other instinctively, the shared joy that lights up every face. It’s about noticing the in-between moments that might otherwise pass unseen, and turning them into memories you can hold onto forever.
Every wedding I photograph reminds me why I do this work. It’s witnessing love made visible, in all its tender, messy, breathtaking reality. And each time I step behind the camera, I feel deeply grateful to be trusted with something so precious.
Photography, for me, isn’t just an art—it’s a way of seeing. A way of remembering what matters most. And nothing brings me more joy than giving couples a collection of images that, years from now, will still bring them back to the laughter, the tears, and the quiet beauty of that day when they promised forever.

A quick one about me.

Born in Derry, Ireland during the closing chapter of the Troubles, my upbringing was deeply rooted in an artistic and gifted family, fostering my early love for music, photography, and the moving image. My journey began with humble beginnings, designing posters for nightclubs, engaging in a bit of 'street art,' and crafting raw skate videos, all of which hinted at a future in the arts.
